Data note: the 40-row Final Beta table sums to 1000 Luca and 770 Lucasprout. An older summary on the community wiki says 960 Luca; we use the row-by-row figure. Launch costs may differ.
What to prioritise
The Arbor is a long-term tree, and the best levels are not always the most expensive ones. The practical order in the Final Beta:
- Level 2– —farming and the first four plots. This is the core loop.
- Level 5 —dirt mounds give you a reason to dig on your own planet.
- Level 9 —weather, if you are hunting weather-specific creatures.
- Level 13 —mountain area for species variety.
- Levels 17, 24, 28 —neighbor capacity, if you are collecting neighbors.
- Cosmetic levels —when you have spare resources and want a new look.
The 960 vs. 1,000 Luca discrepancy
The community wiki’s summary text says it costs 960 Luca to fully upgrade. The detailed 40-row table adds up to 1000 Luca. We use the row-by-row figure because it is the source data, and we show the discrepancy instead of hiding it. If the launch build changes a level cost, the planner will be updated with a new verified date.
Planner FAQ
How much does it cost to fully upgrade the Luca Arbor?
The Final Beta 40-row table sums to 1000 Luca and 770 Lucasprout. An older wiki summary says 960 Luca, so treat the total as approximate until launch.
Which levels increase neighbor capacity?
Levels 17, 24 and 28 each add one neighbor slot in the Final Beta.
Should I rush level 40?
No. The mid-game unlocks (farming, plots, weather, mountain, capacity) are more useful per Luca than the final cosmetic levels.
Where does Lucasprout come from?
Wandering Stars on Starsea Voyages, daily Season of Snowfall challenges and some story milestones.
Where this data comes from
Costs and unlocks are from public community documentation of the Final Beta. The planner does not connect to the game; it only saves your current level in this browser.
