What the numbers actually mean
HoYoverse labeled these as “recommended device specifications” for the Final Beta. That is not the same as a minimum. A device below the recommendation may still run the game, but the beta did not promise it. A device above the recommendation is the safest bet for launch.
The storage figures include the test client. Launch storage can be larger after additional languages, voice packs and content. Leave headroom: 20 GB on PC, 12 GB on iOS and 14 GB on Android is a more comfortable planning target.
Platform notes
- PC: Windows only. macOS and Linux were not supported in the test.
- iOS: iPhone XR was explicitly excluded, even though it is newer than some supported phones. Do not assume “iPhone XS or later” includes every model in that range.
- Android: HarmonyOS devices were not supported in the Stardrift Test; the Final Beta documentation lists Android 9.0+ and specific chip classes. Check the current store listing before launch.
- Emulators: not supported in the Final Beta.
- Connection: the game requires an internet connection at all times.

What are the Petit Planet PC requirements?
The Final Beta recommended Windows 10 or later, an Intel i5 11th Gen or AMD Ryzen 5 5000-series CPU, an RTX 2060 or RX 5600 XT GPU, 16 GB RAM and 18 GB free storage. These are test recommendations, not final launch requirements.
What iPhone do I need?
The Final Beta recommended iOS 14.0 or later on an iPhone XS or newer, excluding iPhone XR, with 4 GB RAM and 10 GB free storage. iPads with equivalent or better chip performance were also supported.
What Android phone do I need?
The Final Beta recommended Android 9.0 or later with a Snapdragon 855, Dimensity 1000 or Kirin 990-class chip or better, 6 GB RAM and 12 GB free storage.
Can I use an emulator?
No. Emulators were not supported in the Final Beta. HoYoverse has not announced emulator support for launch.
Are these the final requirements?
