PC, iOS and Android. That is the launch list.

The launch platforms

PC: HoYoPlay and Epic

The official PC release is distributed through HoYoPlay, HoYoverse’s launcher. The official website also links to an Epic Games Store page for Petit Planet. That is the safest way to install the game on Windows.

If you see a “Steam page” for Petit Planet, check whether it is a real store listing or a fan-made placeholder. As of October 30, 2026, no Steam version has been announced.

iOS and Android

The iOS version is listed on the App Store; Android is on Google Play. Pre-registration is open on both. The Final Beta recommended iOS 14 or later on an iPhone XS or newer (excluding XR), and Android 9 or later with a Snapdragon 855 / Dimensity 1000 / Kirin 990-class chip or better.

Those are test recommendations, not final launch requirements. See the system requirements page for the full table.

Cross-save and cross-play

Cross-save: confirmed. The official Final Beta FAQ says game data carries over between PC and mobile when you log in with the same HoYoverse account. That is the strongest platform feature to plan around: start on one device, continue on another.

Cross-play: the game has social visits, but HoYoverse has not published a detailed cross-play matrix. We do not claim PC–console parity because there is no console version. For the social feature set, see the multiplayer guide.

Why no Switch or PS5?

HoYoverse has not explained the platform strategy. The game is designed around touch and PC controls, and the studio has launched other titles on multiple platforms over time. A console version could be announced later, but nothing is confirmed. Do not buy a console for this game yet.
