How to catch Red Spotted Porcelain Crab
Use the Shellfish Tongs. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.
- Equip the Shellfish Tongs and search the intertidal zone along the beach.
- Shellfish are mostly stationary. The Pearl Oyster is the notable exception and can move.

The red spotted porcelain crab is highly territorial and will stop other intruders from entering its domain after claiming a patch of anemone.
Despite its intimidating claws, it struggles to win fights, especially against other clawed animals. In the end, it often fails to defend the territory it worked so hard to claim.
