How to catch Candy-Striped Shrimp
Use the Shellfish Tongs. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.
- Equip the Shellfish Tongs and search the intertidal zone along the beach.
- Shellfish are mostly stationary. The Pearl Oyster is the notable exception and can move.
First catch: the creature is added to the Omnidex. Offer it to Mors at the Omni-Gallery to put it on display and unlock its Omnipedia entry.

Habitat: Intertidal Zone. Distribution: Islet Specialty from Hexia Zone H83 — this is an islet specialty, so plan it into a Starsea Voyage rather than a planet sweep..
Season: Year-Round. Time: All Day. Weather: Any Weather. If two of those tags are restrictive, check the creature tracker before you set out.
Omnipedia

The candy-striped shrimp feeds on debris picked up inside and around anemones, which helps keep the environment around anemones clean and comfortable. In return, the anemones offer protection with their stinging cells, making the two a classic symbiotic pair.
However, symbiosis doesn't always guarantee safety and ease of mind for the candy-striped shrimp.
After all, there have been cases where these shrimps were found half-digested in some fish's belly.
