How to catch Multicolored Spiny Oyster
Use the Shellfish Tongs. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.
- Equip the Shellfish Tongs and search the intertidal zone along the beach.
- Shellfish are mostly stationary. The Pearl Oyster is the notable exception and can move.
First catch: the creature is added to the Omnidex. Offer it to Mors at the Omni-Gallery to put it on display and unlock its Omnipedia entry.

The multicolored spiny oyster boasts an enormous size that far exceeds the common perception of shells.
When open, it resembles a gaping, hungering maw, evoking existential horror.
But in fact, despite its size, it only feeds on plankton. Truly a "gentle giant."
