How to catch Ghostly Silkmoth

Use the Insect Net. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.

1. Equip the Insect Net and approach the creature at eye level or on the ground.
2. Most insects can be caught with a simple net swipe; slow down if the species is skittish.
3. Check tree trunks, flowers, shrubs, crops and aerial spaces — the habitat column tells you where this species spawns.

Where and when to find it

Habitat: Aerial. Distribution: Islet Specialty from Taffeh Zone T31 — this is an islet specialty, so plan it into a Starsea Voyage rather than a planet sweep..

Season: Year-Round. Time: Nighttime. Weather: Any Weather. If two of those tags are restrictive, check the creature tracker before you set out.

The translucent, silky wings of the Ghostly Silkmoth might make you wonder if the silk spun by its larva is used as "material" for the wings of adults.

But based on composition, the silk is mostly a special kind of protein, whereas the wings are made of chitin — no connection between the two.
