Petit Planet Daily Routine: A 20-Minute Checklist
A spoiler-light daily routine for Petit Planet: gifts, crops, shop refreshes, creature catching and Footprints in about twenty minutes.
In this guide
Petit Planet rewards showing up more than it rewards grinding. A short daily pass is usually better than a long weekend session, because gifts, shop rotations and creature conditions are time-gated.
This is the routine we use. It is deliberately short. The daily checklist tool saves your progress in the browser and resets each day.
The 20-minute loop
| # | Task | Time | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Talk to your main neighbor | 1 min | First chat of the day gives bond |
| 2 | Give one loved gift | 1 min | 2–4 bond, once per day |
| 3 | Harvest and water crops | 3 min | Keeps the farm cycle moving |
| 4 | Check Glenn’s Goods | 1 min | Daily rotation; buy only what you need |
| 5 | Catch the current creatures | 5 min | Time/weather-specific spawns |
| 6 | Complete one Footprint task | 3 min | Long-term Loomi progression |
| 7 | Check the Luca Arbor | 1 min | Spend Luca on the next unlock |
| 8 | Do one Homi Decor request | 2 min | Bond and Dough rewards |
| 9 | Check the Starsea Voyage board | 1 min | Plan the next trip |
| 10 | Bank or sell junk | 2 min | Keep inventory space |
If you only have five minutes, do 1, 2 and 3. Those are the compounding tasks.
Morning vs. evening
The game runs in real time, and some creatures are daytime or nighttime only. You do not need to log in at both ends of the day. Pick the window that fits your schedule and check the creature tracker for what is active.
If a creature is weather-locked, do not wait around. Check the weather, catch what is available, and come back another day.
The reset
Daily actions reset on the server schedule, not your local midnight. If a gift or chat does not award bond, the reset has not happened yet. The exact reset hour can vary by region; the game is the authority.
What not to do every day
- Do not clear every shop. Rotations are designed to tempt you. Buy what you need.
- Do not grind one rare creature for hours. Check the conditions; if they are wrong, do something else.
- Do not ignore the Arbor. Luca has no other use.
- Do not force a voyage. If you have no goal, bank materials and go tomorrow.
- Do not chase every neighbor at once. Pick one or two to raise.
A weekly pass
Once a week:
- Review your Luca Arbor goals.
- Check which neighbors are close to a talent level.
- Clear a Footprint category you have been neglecting.
- Sell duplicate creatures and spare furniture.
- Update your gift list if a neighbor’s preferences changed.
Make it yours
The best routine is the one you will actually do. If decorating is your favorite part, spend the twenty minutes on furniture placement and do the minimum dailies. If you are a collector, prioritize creature conditions and the Omnidex.
The daily checklist lets you tick tasks off and keeps the state on your device. No account, no sync, no pressure.
