Petit Planet Currencies: Dough, Footprint, Lucasprout and More

What each Petit Planet currency buys, where it comes from, and which ones are worth saving before launch.

In this guide

Petit Planet has more currencies than a cozy game first appears to need. The trick is not memorising all of them; it is knowing which shop accepts which one, and which currencies are actually scarce.

The short version

  • Dough — everyday money. Glenn’s Goods, house upgrades, general purchases.
  • Footprint / Loomi — long-term achievement currency. Loomix Mart.
  • Miraprint / MiraLoomi — daily task currency. Curio Emporium.
  • Lucasprout — Luca Arbor progression and Sea Whistles.
  • Bazaar Jelly — Galactic Bazaar minigames and Prize Kiosk.
  • Omni-Voucher — Giftarium furniture and display stands.
  • Luca — Luca Arbor only.

If you remember nothing else: Dough is not the only money, and Lucasprout is not disposable.

Where each one comes from

Currency Main source Secondary source
Dough Story, selling creatures/items, daily play Events, rewards
Footprint / Loomi Footprint tiers One-off tasks
Miraprint / MiraLoomi Daily Loomix Footprints Daily tasks
Lucasprout Wandering Stars, Season of Snowfall dailies Story
Bazaar Jelly Bazaar daily tasks Aleo’s minigames
Omni-Voucher Omni-Gallery / Giftarium Collection rewards
Luca Story progress Arbor milestones

What to spend first

Dough

Spend on:

  1. A house upgrade that unlocks space.
  2. A tool or station you will use daily.
  3. A loved gift you cannot otherwise obtain.

Do not spend on:

  • Rotating shop items you will not use this week.
  • Cosmetics before your farm and house are functional.
  • Duplicate furniture for a set you are not actively completing.

Lucasprout

Spend on the next permanent Arbor unlock, not a cosmetic slot. The mid-game levels (farming, plots, weather, mountain, capacity) do more for your daily loop than a new biome color.

If you are converting sprouts into Sea Whistles, do it with a specific target in mind. Do not convert “just because.”

Footprint / Loomi

Spend at Loomix Mart on clothing or furniture you will actually use. Loomi accumulates slowly; a duplicate purchase is a real loss.

Miraprint

Spend at Curio Emporium. This is a daily currency, so there is less reason to hoard it. Check the rotation and buy what fits your current project.

Bazaar Jelly

Use it inside the Bazaar. It has no external conversion, so hoarding it only delays the reward.

The shops

Shop Currency What it sells
Glenn’s Goods Dough Furniture, clothing, seeds, tools, rotating stock
Loomix Mart Footprint / Loomi Clothing and furniture
Curio Emporium Miraprint Curated goods
Giftarium Omni-Voucher Furniture and display stands
Prize Kiosk Bazaar Jelly Bazaar rewards
Galactic Bazaar Multiple Event and minigame rewards

Stock rotates. The furniture and clothing catalogs list the recorded source for each item, which is faster than guessing from the shop icon.

A launch savings plan

If you are starting fresh on December 4:

  1. First 10,000 Dough: house upgrade or tool, not cosmetics.
  2. First 100 Lucasprout: save for the next Arbor milestone.
  3. First Loomi purchase: an outfit you will wear, not a duplicate.
  4. First Bazaar Jelly: a Prize Kiosk item that helps a system you use.
  5. First Omni-Voucher: a display stand if you are collecting, otherwise furniture.

These are guidelines, not a rigid budget. The point is to avoid the two classic mistakes: spending Dough on rotation churn and converting Lucasprout with no plan.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming every shop takes Dough. Check the icon.
  • Confusing Footprint and Miraprint. Different sources, different shops.
  • Hoarding Bazaar Jelly. It is a closed loop.
  • Converting Lucasprout before the Arbor is finished. Permanent unlocks are usually better.
  • Buying a full costume for one accessory. Check whether the piece is separate.
