Loomix Footprints and Daily Progress in Petit Planet
How Loomix Footprints work: categories, tier rewards, Loomi and Miraprint, and the daily tasks worth doing.
In this system
Loomix Footprints are the game’s achievement checklist. They are not a battle pass. Each category tracks a long-term activity — fishing, bug catching, beachcombing, life skills, planet growth — and pays out in Loomi (the currency also called Footprint) for each tier.
Miraprint is the daily variant: it comes from daily Loomix Footprints and is spent at the Curio Emporium. The two are easy to confuse, so keep the shops separate in your head.
The categories
| Category | What it tracks | Example tasks |
|---|---|---|
| Fishing | Fish caught and settled | Catch 25 / 50 / 100 / 200 / 350 fish |
| Bug-catching | Insects caught and settled | Catch 25 / 50 / 100 / 200 / 350 insects |
| Beachcombing | Shore-dwellers caught and settled | Catch 25 / 50 / 100 / 200 / 350 shore-dwellers |
| Life skills | Chopping, mining, digging, foraging, shooting stars | Use strength, chop wood, mine ore, dig items |
| Planet | Collection, daily tasks, Luca Arbor, MomentFolio | Upgrade the Arbor, collect Luca Fruit, complete daily Footprints |
The exact list is longer than this table. The point is that every long-term activity feeds the same progression pool, so a relaxing fishing session is never wasted.
How the tiers pay out
Most categories use five tiers. A representative example from the Final Beta:
| Tier | Fish caught | Loomi reward |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 25 | 200 |
| 2 | 50 | 300 |
| 3 | 100 | 300 |
| 4 | 200 | 500 |
| 5 | 350 | 600 |
Bug-catching uses the same catch counts with slightly different rewards. Beachcombing uses the same counts as fishing. The one-off “caught a specific creature” tasks usually pay 1,000 Loomi and have a single tier.
What to spend Loomi on
Loomi is the Footprint currency used at Loomix Mart. It is not the same as Dough. If you are saving for a specific outfit or furniture piece, check the shop’s currency icon before you assume it takes Dough.
Miraprint is separate. It comes from daily Loomix Footprints and is used at the Curio Emporium. Treat it as a daily bonus rather than a long-term savings account.
A practical daily approach
You do not need to chase every tier. The efficient habit is:
- Complete the daily Footprints that overlap with what you already do.
- Catch/collect on your planet while the day’s creatures are active.
- Bank one long-term category at a time — fishing is usually the easiest to stack because it does not require weather hunting.
- Spend Loomi only when the Loomix Mart rotation has something you actually want.
The daily checklist includes the footprint-friendly tasks in a ten-item loop.
Common mistakes
- Confusing Loomi with Miraprint. They are different currencies with different shops.
- Ignoring one-off creature tasks. A single 1,000 Loomi task is often worth more than a whole tier of common catches.
- Grinding common fish for a rare-creature task. Read the task text before you cast.
- Forgetting that settlement counts. Some tiers require you to place creatures in the Omni-Gallery, not just catch them.
Sources and caveats
Category names, tier counts and reward values are from public community documentation of the Final Beta. The system is likely to be tuned before launch; the structure is the reliable part, not the exact numbers.
