How to catch Yellowback Demoiselle

Use the Fishing Rod. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.

1. Cast the Fishing Rod into the right water: rivers and lakes for freshwater fish, coastal waters for saltwater fish.
2. Wait for the nibbles, then strike when the line bites down.
3. Common freshwater fish and gray saltwater fish can usually be caught straight away after the bite.

A Yellowback Demoiselle's health is directly reflected through its body color.

When healthy, the blue on its body shimmers with a dreamy glow.

When unwell, the blue fades.

Despite plenty of warning signs, most owners still find themselves overwhelmed when caring for this finicky fish.
