How to catch True Lobster
Use the Shellfish Tongs. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.
- Equip the Shellfish Tongs and search the intertidal zone along the beach.
- Lobsters and crayfish hide in rocky outcrops. Wait for them to emerge, and be careful with gold-quality crayfish that charge at you.
First catch: the creature is added to the Omnidex. Offer it to Mors at the Omni-Gallery to put it on display and unlock its Omnipedia entry.
Where and when to find it
Habitat: Intertidal Zone. Distribution: All Regions.
Season: Year-Round. Time: All Day. Weather: Any Weather. If two of those tags are restrictive, check the creature tracker before you set out.

Intertidal Zone · Homarus americanus
The true lobster's hard shell serves as exceptional armor, securing the species its ecological niche in the unforgiving nature.
However, thanks to the very same hard armor, they only have a brief window for mating between molting and the hardening of their new shell.
