How to catch Largetooth Flounder

Use the Fishing Rod. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.

1. Cast the Fishing Rod into the right water: rivers and lakes for freshwater fish, coastal waters for saltwater fish.
2. Wait for the nibbles, then strike when the line bites down.
3. Common freshwater fish and gray saltwater fish can usually be caught straight away after the bite.

In its natural habitat, the Largetooth Flounder hugs the seabed to "blend in," making it difficult to spot for even the most seasoned predators. Similarly, it gobbles its unsuspecting prey whole with sudden lunges from its ambush spot.

This goes to show that "breaking the meta" can be an excellent survival strategy.
