How to catch Flower Crab
Use the Shellfish Tongs. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.
- Equip the Shellfish Tongs and search the intertidal zone along the beach.
- Approach crabs slowly. They scuttle away if you rush, and some hide under broken seashells or coral branches.
First catch: the creature is added to the Omnidex. Offer it to Mors at the Omni-Gallery to put it on display and unlock its Omnipedia entry.
Where and when to find it
Habitat: Intertidal Zone. Distribution: Islet Specialty from Taffeh Zone T31 — this is an islet specialty, so plan it into a Starsea Voyage rather than a planet sweep..
Season: Year-Round. Time: All Day. Weather: Any Weather. If two of those tags are restrictive, check the creature tracker before you set out.

Intertidal Zone · Portunus pelagicus
As a predator, the Flower Crab has a flat body that lets it glide through ocean currents as if it were "flying."
However, it isn't always zooming around the sea in high gear. There had been sightings of Flower Crabs hitching a ride on top of jellyfish for leisurely "sightseeing" tours.
