How to catch Fire Urchin
Use the Shellfish Tongs. The exact approach depends on the creature’s category and, for shore-dwellers, its species type.
- Equip the Shellfish Tongs and search the intertidal zone along the beach.
- Sea urchins are mostly stationary and drift with the waves. Pick them up with the tongs.
First catch: the creature is added to the Omnidex. Offer it to Mors at the Omni-Gallery to put it on display and unlock its Omnipedia entry.

Season: Year-Round. Time: Daytime. Weather: Any Weather. If two of those tags are restrictive, check the creature tracker before you set out.

The fire urchin is entirely bright red with blue bioluminescent spots that flicker like starlight in its center. Though strikingly beautiful, being pricked by its spines causes an intense burning pain.
Because of this, many crabs will carry fire urchins on their backs, turning them into their personal "flame shield."
