Petit Planet Final Beta Recap: What the Last Test Included
The Petit Planet Final Beta ran from September 20 to October 19, 2026. A clear recap of the content, the data wipe, and what it tells us about launch.
In this article
The Petit Planet Final Beta ended on October 19, 2026. It was the third and final closed test before the December 4 launch, and the last chance to see the game before it goes live.
Here is what the test actually included, what changed, and what it did not settle.
The basics
| Detail | Final Beta |
|---|---|
| Version | 0.95.2 |
| Dates | September 20 – October 19, 2026 |
| Platforms | PC (Windows), iOS, Android |
| Access | Limited, sign-up + invites |
| Purchases | None |
| Data | Wiped at the end |
| Languages | 15 text languages; EN/JP/CN voice-over |
The test was explicitly a data-wipe test. When the servers closed, all test account information and game data were deleted. Nothing carries into launch.
What was new in the Final Beta
- New neighbors: Heyu, Manna and Tika were added to the test roster.
- More languages: Korean, German, Italian, Turkish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Traditional Chinese and Spanish were added to the text language list.
- Creature changes: season tags were added to all creatures, and collection scores were adjusted.
- MAX-size creatures: the largest size category with a glowing aura was added for collection.
- Seasonal event content: Hexia H84 hosted a seasonal neighbor event during the test.
Those are beta-specific changes. The launch build can add, remove or rebalance any of them.
What the test showed about the game
The core loop is stable: farm, cook, decorate, meet neighbors, sail to islets, collect creatures. The Final Beta also showed how much of the game is time-gated. Gifts, chats, shop rotations and creature conditions all run on real-time schedules.
It also showed the limits. The social layer is lighter than a full co-op game. The Luca Arbor is a long progression tree, not a short tutorial. And the collection system has enough depth to support a database, which is why this site exists.
What the test did not settle
- The launch hour and pre-load timing.
- Final system requirements.
- Launch monetization details.
- Whether every beta neighbor returns.
- The final multiplayer feature set.
If you see a “Final Beta tier list” presented as launch truth, treat it as a beta opinion. The balance can change.
What to do now
- Pre-register on your platform if you have not.
- Read the beginner guide so launch day is smoother.
- Check the release date hub for the latest confirmed details.
- Do not buy beta accounts or “progress transfers.” Neither exists.
The next scheduled date is the Pre-Launch Special Program on November 1, followed by the global launch on December 4.
